Lost camera
Ooops.. an astronaut loses her camera in space.
Ooops.. an astronaut loses her camera in space.
There’s this song I’ve been hearing on the radio from time to time in the last month, and every time I heard it, I kept thinking it sounded like Buck 65, but it was too moody for his style.
I found out I was half right.
It’s Buck 65 featured on that song, which is on Matt Mays’ new album (released last month). Like Buck 65, Mays is another talented Nova Scotian artist. Apparently this new album is based as a “movie soundtrack” that Mays says he was going to direct, shoot and star in. It’s not clear if the movie ran out of money, or (my opinion) that there was no movie in the first place and this is just a smart concept album.
Here’s that song:
Earlier this month, five San Francisco bus shelters were equipped with ads embedded with the scent of cookies to go with the “Got Milk” campaign being put on by the milk industry.
It’s called MagniScent®, which gives off the smell via scent-infused adhesives affixed to the inside of the bus shelters and undersides of the benches.
Louis Zafonte from Arcade Marketing – the company who setup the smelly ads – says it costs $30 per bus shelter for the smell to last a week.
“Scent is a primary driver of memory,” Zafonte said.
As I said earlier this month, I’ve been off/on coughing sick.
Knowing that all Decembers involve heavy socialization, I’ve been taking more of an effort to heal myself, especially before Santacon this weekend, but it seems that my throat has just been too raw from the coughing and I’ve been stressing out my vocals too much by talking and I’m losing my voice like I did last Santacon.
Great message from a wicked artist.
