Nova Scotia bans animal tail docking

Everyone is forgetting that horses are included in this ban. Anyone who thinks that draft horses are docked purely for cosmetic reasons has never worked with them.
Thanks Tracy; you are correct, horses are included in this ban. However the ban only covers docking “for cosmetic purposes”.
Docking work horses to prevent injury (which according to a few vets is very rare these days) or for any reason than “for cosmetic purposes”, I believe, is exempt from this ban.
