Built in text message ruin man’s life
Ouch! This Winnipegger got thrown out by his love because of some sultry text messages he didn’t even send; his phone sent them.
This must be like when your phone dials someone while it’s in your pocket. Note to new phone owners, especially those with Virgin Mobile, remove your pre-defined text messages. Also, this says a lot about what market Virgin Mobile is targeting: booty call?

I agree that Virgin should have an inkling that all of their customers aren’t 16-24 males (I wonder if anyone would mind their 13 year old daughter to be getting booty call messages !)
When I read about that, though, I thought ‘something’s up’. Either the wife has some major underlying issues, in which case if it weren’t preloaded messages from his mobile provider it would be the heart that some waitress drew under their name after “Thanks !” on the bill taht wold have sunk them.
That, or the guy has had a mucho skanky past which gives him zero latitude when it comes to anything even smelling of infidelity.
First, yes, clearly Virgin Mobile is targeting a ‘skank’ crowd. Second, because he wouldn’t give his last name also struck me as a bit weird. If there wasn’t more to the story, why not be upfront about who you are, especially in hopes of communicating to this woman that this was innocent.
It’s plausible that he has a sketchy past, as much as it’s plausible that she also has a sketchy past. Some times when people have been serially hurt, they are somewhat paranoid of being hurt again.. ?
